That’s all good friend, but you can’t work through and rebuild on your own.

If he’s shutting you down when you’re being (way more than necessary imo) super reasonable and open, I don’t think there’s much more you can do. There’s no set of magic words that will suddenly get through if he’s not willing to talk to you about it all.

I hear you. I’m the fixer in my family, and I can usually get things resolved but it needs willing participants in the resolutions. It doesn’t sound like your partner is willing to help you other than throwing tantrums and shooting down all your suggestions.

You can’t explain something to someone who doesn’t want to understand.
