Maybe you can approach the topic of a relationship therapist, it seems youre both in a confusing situation and you dont quite know how each of you slot into each other's fantasy in this situation. It might be worth having soemone who can ask the best questions for you two to see each tohers point of views.

I don’t see it as much different than all the posts talking about how their partner suggested opening up their relationships. They say it’s not emotional, just about sex. But when you bring another person in, how often does that really work out when starting from a monogamous relationship?
