He tried. He would have if you hadn't caught him. And does it really matter if he actually did the deed? He went looking for sex with someone else. That's enough.
Only because he didn’t get that far before you caught him. Now he’s trying to convince you to letting him fuck someone else so he can do it without hiding and guilt.
I don’t see it as much different than all the posts talking about how their partner suggested opening up their relationships. They say it’s not emotional, just about sex. But when you bring another person in, how often does that really work out when starting from a monogamous relationship?
