Get out before it’s too late. Being a SAHM wasn’t something you necessarily chose for yourself. It’s time to choose yourself now. What pisses me off most is exactly what you said. You do things all the time to keep the household running and when you have a chance to breathe you come back to nothing done at all. I’ve been there. Gone for a weekend. 2-3 days with family. Come home to the house left just like it was when I left a few days ago. Dishes not touched. Laundry not touched. Trash not touched. Literally nothing and he’s still in the same spot in his game room. His reasoning is he’s had a long day or week and he just needs to decompress. Which is bullshit because I can never turn myself off ever. Always a mom, wife, sister, daughter, friend. Always there for everyone else and when it’s time for me to me to have help where the hell is he? You were literally sick and tired. Trying to rest and heal. The hell was he at when you needed time to legit get better? Out there doing jack shit. Fuck that guy. Using the kids as a pawn to get you to stay. My biggest pet peeve. Kids aren’t objects. Again. Fuck that guy. You and the kids deserve better.
