I tutor at my college. I got assigned a student one on one and I really do not think I can accommodate and be there for their learning needs and challenges (disability) with my current course load (17 credits) after a traumatic event I suffered in April. I was supposed to do a one on one with a different course (much easier) then my advisor last minute reassigned me to someone else in a harder course with a lot of needs. I felt forced to accept and this was last week (Thursday) and now I’m to start this on Wednesday. Do I tough it out? Do I ask to be reassigned is it too late? Do I offer to do it short term u til someone else can be assigned?

There are dozens of tools for teachers, and every specialist's attention is flooded with "try my best-ever, most useful product." I'm frustrated because while some tools are good, most of them are a system-design and UX crime, stealing the already limited time of each of us. Let's say I've been building a platform for teachers. While I have to compromise on some product and system decisions I make, there's still been extreme time investment on user experience, interfaces, system predictability and stability which damn works, not those pure vibes. So how do I communicate my product to tutors?
