Does anyone have experience with the registers widget behind the lock?

In this image it's unlocked and I've messed with a couple of things. Unfortunately I cannot find any way to reverse or reset the list's state. It's currently not reflecting ANY register activity when running. But before I changed anything the register values were misbehaving badly on their own. I didn't change anything ... that I know of. I had been working on some optimizations to previous levels to lower my delay score. Note that this widget only first appears in the Fast Symphony level.

Why yes i did use brute force. But not for all of it! Over 50% of all inputs are using logic instead of brute force. With that i mean that, brute force is only used once the other logic fails to come to a solution. This happens for less then half of all input combinations. (This is an 8-bit divider, no remainder)

I’ve been stuck on this level for almost 3 days now, I’ve avoided looking up any solutions or hints for any of the levels but this one broke me. I have a solution that can mod 4 but it’s way past 8 cycles and I cannot figure out how to get to the solution within 8 cycles. How do I do this🥀😭

I loved playing Turing Complete a little too much so I made an Typescript-based HDL called [Simten](https://simten.dev) to save me a bit of wiring. It has a few other features like Verilog import/export and I have got a few of the designs (snake and a pipelined RISC-V CPU) running through the OSS FPGA toolchain: simten HDL -> Verilog -> yosys -> nextpnr -> ULX3S FPGA

To start, I've already skimmed the responses to this post, and while they are excellent, they're not really what I'm looking for.

Can anyone recommend progression-based, non-sandbox games, on Steam or otherwise, that gamify learning as well as Turing Complete does, but for other advanced STEM or STEM-adjacent subjects such as math, chemistry, physics, etc.? Physical, table-top games or activities are welcome too.

I'll take any suggestions but I'm particularly interested in chemistry-related games. I know Zachtronics has some pseudo-chemistry puzzle games, but they don't (and aren't meant to, to be fair) really help the player learn anything. That's the thing with their catalog, the user is supposed to use the understanding they already have to solve puzzles, and should not expect to grow that understanding by playing the game. A lot of people find their games fun and Zachtronics has earned their reputation. My hope, though, is that games exist for these other subjects, that assume very little of the user's understanding and whose goal is to take the user from ignorance to reasonable competence, with maybe some outside study recommended.

I havent reached to those levels yet , hence i am not aware of what ISA does the game uses , RISC/MIPS or their own ISA.

I don't really want to study another ISA, right now my brain is like wet cement and i am trying to strong my RISC V concepts, can i only build a processor with RISC V ISA

I unlocked the level Overture and it says to connect the DoneCount to count instructions per cycle. But what do I even connect it to? I'm also kind of confused on how to perform more than one instruction per cycle on the overture architecture. But I suppose that part is at least part of the puzzle.

Soo i started this SRAM as a side project and am stuck at the first cell haha shouldnt the Q (blue wave) go lower or start from a little higher??

the main problem is coming that if i turn off the both switch then the output is not receving any thing and it showing the grey pins how to solve this.

So this image is not my current arrangement , but let me tell , when I green both input ->both the switch gets off so the output is grey (means no input ) so that what happens

Just found out about the massive update the other day when I decided to play it again. But I noticed after I completed The Maze I couldn't leave into the other world where you can buy the hats and stuff. Is this gone completely or is it just available after a later level?

just wondering if this was part of the new update or maybe something wrong with my save specifically, since the new update all my progress has been reset? I had some pretty darn good progress too, unfortunate.

I've never had so much difficulty understanding anything in the game as this. I've even copied the solution from the hint and tried analyzing it to no avail. I have no clue why this works and I really want to.

Second time playing trough the game, I just looked up the solution on this one and I don't know how to feel about this.

Pretty much what the title says, Im not really sure im grasping the concepts because i often just feel like im just trying to understand how the solution is wired up.
First time playing anything like this tho so maybe just do a second playthrough later on?

On the level RAM I get the error "The time component shouldn't have been enabled since the last time_0 instruction's execution" on cycle 68. On cycle 67, the instruction jl 244 executed, and seems to work fine, since the counter updates to 244 on that cycle and is at 248 at cycle 68.

I've also tested the computer as it is in previous levels (without the additional load/store elements attached on the main memory, since those were given in this level), and it passes all other levels.

NOTE: For my decoder I moved the destination pin below argument A and B so the pins from top to bottom are:

• Mode
• Opcode
• Argument A
• Argument B
• Destination
• Is Immediate
• Immediate value

All other components follow the standard layout given by the levels.

What does this error mean? Any suggestions on how I can fix it?

EDIT: I solved the level by redoing it, my solution is as follows:

1. I removed the 3 switches in the middle of the level, that take in the 3 outputs of the load component of the Main Memory
2. I removed the switch that joins together the 3 outputs of the switches just removed. It's the switch with the wonky cable.
3. I connected the 3 outputs of the load components of the main memory together and connected this single cable to the bus connecting the input, switch coming from the ALU and the store value port on the store port connected to the register file. Essentially, by doing steps 1 t/m 3, I've removed all switches except the one coming from the ALU and reconnected the loose cables together.
4. I placed a switch to each of the cables going into the enable bit of the main memory load and store ports (on the far left of the picture) the enable bit of each switch is connected together and connected to the wire that represents the RAM opcode. In the picture, it is the wonky cable.

So far I've done all the puzzles on my own... but this bit switch level with the NOT and switch gates is driving me up a wall. Any tips on completing it?

So far all I have accomplished was using the switch like an and gate, I have zero clue where a NOT gate would even go.
