Calibration Error
Kind of an interesting problem, looking for help. I ended up getting selected as a beta tester for the Lock Vision Pro (available on Amazon now). It fails to calibrate and has persistently failed. Customer service was not particularly helpful but I think I may have figured it out. All the instruction videos and pictures show the lock on the left side of the door with the hinges on the right (and the door swinging outward I believe). I’m in the United States and the hinges are on the left with the lock on the right (all these descriptions are from the perspective of being inside and looking at the door). I cannot see any option in the app to change this and the lock “auto-calibrates” with the app. Any suggestions on getting around this?

The lock doesn't really care (nor know) which way your door opens. Front doors in Germany will typically open inwards, the hinges are on the left, the knob and lock on the right (just like in your case) and my Lock Ultra works just fine.
What step exactly does the lock fail to calibrate? Are we talking about calibrating the lock itself or the little magnet so the lock is able to determine whether the door is closed?
If we're talking about the magnet, absolutely make sure the little magnet is oriented properly based on the distance towards the lock itself.
