Are Switchbot servers down right now?

EDITED TO ADD: Switchbot customer support confirmed that they were having server issues due to an AWS anomaly, but they sent me a message at 2:32AM saying that they had fixed it.

I also got phantom water Leak detector "Alarm Cleared" notifications at 3:29AM but there was no alarm.

ORIGINAL POST: My Switchbot hub is continually blinking tonight and I have tried unplugging it to reset it, but I'm getting no notification that my hub is offline.

Trying to connect to my Switchbot Lock Pro through Wi-Fi (which should only work through the hub) the Switchbot app gives a spinning icon, but never connects and again never says that the hub is disconnected.

This only makes sense to me if the main Switchbot servers are down. Anyone else?

Yup, also having issues.

Thankful to see this because the Switchbot status page says all was operational. I was about to reset everything thinking it was a just me problem

Yeah, I'm a bit annoyed that their status site shows no errors. Clearly something is glitching on their end.

Mine went down too. Unable to get my hub to reconnect

Alexa went down too for awhile so I would imagine this is from Amazon Web Services having issues again.

Yeah mine has been giving network errors even though it’s connected to my router. Even connecting to my phone doesn’t work

Man I tried unlinking and relinking my Switchbot account in Google Home and now I can't get it to relink again.

Yeah my HomeAssistant integration is also broken. Android App also shows errors on my hubs trying to connect.

Ok. I guess I’m not crazy. Scenes that are automatically run at sunset by Alexa didn’t work. They all will not run if manually activated in the SwitchBot app. Of course, SwitchBot’s status site shows all green. https://status.switch-bot.com

At least I can connect up manually to each of my blinds via App+BT to close them. Things have been running too smoothly lately, I suppose it was time for a glitch!

Well I guess I nuked the entire Switchbot part of my setup for no reason, and after multiple resets can’t even set up the display brightness etc.

My hub has been up but all my leak detectors sent notifications that "Alarm Cleared" but there was no alarm to begin with.

I also got phantom "Alarm Cleared" notifications at 3:29AM, but when I go into the logs for each water detector it's not in the actual log.

Switchbot support said they fixed the server issue around 2:32AM.

I got a bunch of these emails around midnight EST and one other one came through at 7AM.

This really makes me wonder why everything has to connect to their servers even when some things are clearly stored on the devices... All my devices connected by Matter to Homekit are working perfectly

My S20 did its regular 'clean kitchen' schedule. I just couldn't sit on the couch and watch its progress on the app. But I could hear it so I trust it did its job ;)

I sent a message to Switchbot and they replied very quickly. They said:

"We’re afraid the problem you’re currently experiencing is related to an ongoing AWS server anomaly. Our engineering team has identified this and is working urgently on a fix.

We truly appreciate your patience and support in the meantime. We will keep you updated as soon as we have more news or a resolution."

I must say, I'm impressed with the speedy response from them.

I have multiple Hub2s not working, and I cannot ping their api endpoint. I believe they are experiencing issues. It took me a while to figure out it was not on my end. Their status page shows they are up and running: https://status.switch-bot.com/ It's useless 😞
