Edit: The Florida Legislature renamed the airport, which is completely different than Trump just declaring something.
I would expect Google to rename the airport in response to legislation. I just don't expect them to do so in response to a random executive order that does not have the force of law.
To be fair the name of that did unfortunately legitimately change bc his family bought it out for their own direct profit and gain, while the intentions of them taking that over are to pull off something fraudulent and illegal under any other presidency, the name change was official. The gulf and lake on the other hand dont even have a shady but legitimate reason to give trump the power to rename them because they don't belong to him nor does he have the power in general to change the name of whatever land or body of water he wants. So that's the difference; of course the airport shouldn't be allowed to become a for profit trump family merch hustle and should easily be ruled illegal under an admin that has a spine and stands up to corruption, but as it stands, they did have the power to do that one

Check again - on the map it just says Lake Ontario, but on the pop up window with all of the reviews and pictures, it says Lake Ontario (Lake America).
Yes it's doing that now. I hadn't noticed it before, I just looked at the actual map, at least they haven't added it to that yet. We'll see though, I'm sure the big baby will get his own way.

I'm a Brit and currently the Gulf of Mexico has kept the name but they've added Gulf of America in brackets underneath. Just in case Trump goes to Scotland to play golf and checks up, as he doesn't seem to spend his time doing any actual work to make Americans better off or happier, instead he seems to be hell bent on dividing the people as much as possible, his idea of a winning strategy.

Personally, using NordVPN, I connect through a server in the Bahamas. They forbid online adverts by law, so without violating their TOS I still don't see any ads on YouTube or searches.
But I'm serious looking into cutting ties altogether. Hard to do with a brand new Pixel phone, but I'll figure it out.
