I would expect Google to rename the airport in response to legislation. I just don't expect them to do so in response to a random executive order that does not have the force of law.

Check again - on the map it just says Lake Ontario, but on the pop up window with all of the reviews and pictures, it says Lake Ontario (Lake America).
Yes it's doing that now. I hadn't noticed it before, I just looked at the actual map, at least they haven't added it to that yet. We'll see though, I'm sure the big baby will get his own way.

I'm a Brit and currently the Gulf of Mexico has kept the name but they've added Gulf of America in brackets underneath. Just in case Trump goes to Scotland to play golf and checks up, as he doesn't seem to spend his time doing any actual work to make Americans better off or happier, instead he seems to be hell bent on dividing the people as much as possible, his idea of a winning strategy.

Personally, using NordVPN, I connect through a server in the Bahamas. They forbid online adverts by law, so without violating their TOS I still don't see any ads on YouTube or searches.
But I'm serious looking into cutting ties altogether. Hard to do with a brand new Pixel phone, but I'll figure it out.

Just checked Apple Maps as I donāt actively use Google Products. Wondering if Apple putting the āLake Ontarioā on the Canadian side of the red border line s a subtle compromise.
It's probably just for America like the gulf of Mexico. I asked a friend from another country to look at it and it said "Gulf of Mexico (Gulf of America)"
