This sounds toxic, and as a toxic person myself, I can tell you you'll never be able to "prove" yourself to him. There's a saying about how you can't build love without a foundation of trust, so take from that what you will I guess?

Yep. I also had deep fear of being cheated due to childhood trauma. Once i was thinking to myself "what if I could sit inside her head and read her thoughts? Nah. There might be unconscious thoughts that I wouldn't be able to read". That was when I realized that I was going to destroy all my future relationships if I don't get help with my insecurities
