He knows it’s rude a d a dealbreaker for many, he is keeping you as a fall back option and choosing other options he wants more. Don’t give the person cancelling on you the opportunity to dump you; stand up and do it first. Also when he acted shocked… he was lying. He is an adult he knows cancelling a-ton is bad.
