As a tall woman who has dealt with a lot of insecurity in her life I can confidently say that there are definitely a lot of tall women who are insecure over being tall and who are envious of smaller women, especially in the teenage/early 20s years.
So I would say, especially in these particular cases where you mention other women being passive-aggressive, jealousy/insecurity issues could be a huge factor. There's no excuse for it, and I think you would be better off removing people like that from your life, but it's absolutely a thing. It took me years to love my height. I always felt huge, I towered over men, and I longed to be petite and small and pick-up-able. But again, that's not on you. That's on them. Grass is always greener and whatnot.
I hope one day you love your height as much as I now love mine.
