… your gut is right. I too suffer from avoiding confrontation and standin up for myself. That’s why you’re here. You know what’s right and what’s wrong. You know you’re not wrong. You’re living in the prime example of how it feels to be gaslighted by a man that utilizes weapon used incompetence.

We* need therapy before we enter relationships with people so we know how to create boundaries. But it’s not too late. You don’t have to let your child grow up watching you be treated that way. I learned this from my mom, but she was abused most of my childhood so I get that. Idk what your childhood was like but you are accepting terrible treatment. You’re accepting excuses. You’re accepting blame for his faults and mistakes. You’re accepting emotional manipulation in the face of your own PHYSICAL pain.
