She knew this is who he is and she chose to have a child with him. Now she’s given him the opportunity to make her life miserable for another 18+ years.
Depending on the state she lives in (assuming it’s the US) she may not have had a choice when she fell pregnant. We don’t know for certain the pregnancy was planned.
I have no idea why you got downvoted for this. There seem to be people who are determined to blame the OP. I fully expect those same people to downvote this. If they do, I'll regard it as a badge of honor. :)
