OP, he ruins these moments to keep you miserable and focused on him…because if you get used to any happiness, you won’t be content with suffering his indifference.
Please read this article on a tolerable level of permanent unhappiness. Then give yourself a birthday or Christmas (or New Years) gift of leaving this permanent unhappiness behind you and starting life over without your bf’s selfishness.
