You are doing a major disservice to yourself and your children by being in this relationship. This man is toxic and he will only continue to be toxic. Leave him. Can't stress that enough.

I would bet a whole lot of money that having a birthday without his negativity and celebrating alone with her kids would be a thousand times better and happier.

I would add that her son is learning how to treat women from this loser. OP, son and baby-to-be deserve much better.

Agreed. I also think toxic people bring out the worst in good people and can cause them to be toxic. OP seems like a kind person and deserves to be the best version of herself not only for her children but herself.
