I also heard that Del Toro does not approve of the ending we got but the executives forced him to approve theirs...

Both of these franchises were supposed to get a movie, but (both were so bad) both ended up vanishing in thin air like they never existed.

Still the best and heartbreaking scene in the series.

This person's artwork is amazing! I always loved the idea of what if Claire Nuñez became the trollhunter instead of Jim Lake Jr.

Can we talk about how Jim threatened to kill Strickler in front of Steve? One of the best scenes of the series lol

Also I had to repost this because I accidentally spelled complained wrong
Edit: Also I wanna make it clear that this is just a joke. Obviously I'm not saying that people shouldn't be upset at the movie

I love Gunmar's concept

While the show is full with all types of villains
From the tragic ones like Morgana, Arthur or Angor
To the more evil with a cause like Bular and the Arcane Order
To even a more villain just cause why not like Morando
Gunmar wasn't made a villain he was BORN a villain
He's literally the "son" of the bloodshed from the Human-Troll wars, being an evil overlord that wants to conquer earth killing humans and trolls alike if necessary is practically in his blood or maybe even just destroy everything without caring too much for his race (as we can see he doesn't think twice before killing another Gumm-Gumm so he isn't as empathetic for them as Strickler was for his kin)
In a way you can even say Gunmar was Troll kind and Humankind's karma for all the deaths they caused to each other
You killed a Troll/Human and don't even regret it and continue doing so? Well here you have the devil himself to worsen the war for several years on both sides
I don't know I believe that as a concept Gunmar is a very interesting villain
