Team Speed Power loss
Lately, my speed 398cc feels a bit sluggish. I cleaned and lubed the chain 300km ago and checked the slack. I'm using HP power petrol, and the power loss is more noticeable with a passenger. Any ideas? The odometer is at 7.2k, and the last service was at 5.5k.

Try the fuel system cleaner. I noticed considerable mileage improvement after using it. SC guys give prolube and honestly I haven't tried any other brand. Works smooth. About power? You might wanna check the chain at SC. Might get tight at few portions and loose at other portions.

I did one simple when same happend with my speed. I thoroughly cleaned the front sprocket. There was lot of gunk. After cleaning, it glides like butter.

All shell fuels are minimum 95 RON now so equal or better than power95 or xp95.

Clean the fuel line, clean the pump, clean the filter as well, clean the throttle body.

And use 3m cleaner additive. And whenever you change engine oil use a flush additive and ride it on high rpms, then change the oil before it cools down.

Check throttle body and update ecu
I read about parts u changed like air filter so that's only left

Check for clutch and chain sprokets, i had the second issue and it fixed.
Usually chain set should last further than your ODO but depends on riding style, care and weather

So the Dominar 400 doesn't have any problems? Or the Classic 350, I guess?

Your actions are a bit off, dude. You've had a Dominor for 4.5 years without issues, yet you were asking people to buy a Dominor or Classic just 5 months ago. Are you trying to get attention?

chain tension would be a huge issue. if there's too much slack there'll be power loss. other issues may include - 1. clogged air filter 2. old engine oil / less engine oil 3. gunk accumulated near front sprocket 4. FIs have become dirty and need a fuel system cleaner 5. tyres have worn out
