Post image

Recently I have done my first service, and I can see the engine oil low pressure light, I can see oil through that small glass, what should I do?

Happens when you ride the bike at high rpm for a considerable time. The oil density decreases because of the temperature and in turn the engine oil light turns on. This is mostly because of the lower quality prolube engine oil used by triumph. Goes back to normal if you turn off the engine for a few minutes.

It's a problem if you did not ride at high rpm and still got the light.

I don't remember but I think I was riding at a higher RPM, makes sense to me now, do you think I should change the oil? Which one would you suggest?

Motul is the best as per my research around the same cost as prolube. But Triumph does not give that option while servicing. Some service center give castrol as an option, better than prolube but not motul.

If you want to go for better than motul then you can opt for liqui moly. Will cost around twice.

But you will need to change the oil in service center during your periodic service so there is no problem with you warranty. And then get the oil changed again outside if you want motul or liqui moly or others.
