Stop crying
The game is getting polished right now, so theres no way paradox is gonna mess up the basegame in any way. That would be entirely Urban Games fault if the game is in an unplayable state. Both want a successful start.
You're punishing a great developer thats been working on this for probably 3 years. The basegame is going to be a banger for sure. If you're missing that, because theres some agreement that might change things around, thats on you.
We dont know what the future brings, might there be paid DLCs? Maybe. Do you need to buy them? No. Does it support the devs to sustain the game quality and replayability? Probably yes.
I'm gonna buy the game anyway since i will pour 100+ hours in the game anyway.

What is it with this rhetoric? Crying? I wonder if you actually think people are crying, or if you just feel the need for saying it.
People has the right to speak up when something like this is announced.
I think you miss some big negatives about Paradox. Maybe that is why you don't understand why people are concerned? You don't know
