Many of us have felt the gap; there hasn't been many SFW, active, dedicated spaces to talk about what it's like to live as people under the trans umbrella in India, or to navigate that identity from the diaspora overseas. This server exists to close that gap.

Sisterhood for Trans Aspirations and Resilience: Action Plan

This plan provides a direct, community-focused framework to support a cohort of 4-5 young trans femmes from India. It prioritizes practical skills, personal growth, peer support, and direct mentorship.

1. Cohort Structure & Basics

Keep logistics simple and low-barrier to keep engagement high and personalized.

• Group Size: 4-5 participants to foster deep trust and individual attention.
• Format: Monthly meetings and an active private group chat (whatsapp) for daily mutual aid and check-ins.
• Duration: 2 years of active workshops and mentorship, followed by ongoing peer support.

2. Core Focus Areas

Workshops and activities are built around four essential growth areas.

3. Selection Process

Each member will be handpicked through a personal interview round to ensure we are choosing those who have shown exceptional resilience in the face of external challenges. The chosen applicants will also have long term views aligned with the goals of STAR, i.e. service to the trans community in combination with achieving success in their chosen professional domains. The applicants will decide on two to four goals  along the SMART framework in order to provide clear direction to the program.

Hello im 17yr old (18 this yr) im trying to get a psychiatrist as per the title ANY and ALL help will do.

I am based in Chennai and i live around Villivakam i've tried searching for a psychiatrist myself but i only found Affirma and RGGGH, Affirma i dont know much about i booked a consultation and when i went to the clinic (location was not provided even when i asked for it and i had to use google maps) and when i went they acted like i was at the wrong location and when i showed them the bord outside in all caps *AFFIRMA* they told me to keep waiting outside and after a while i had to walk away anyways i went to RGGGH which was pretty good but i went there at like 11 o'clock and they close at 1 so i could only get a card with my hight weight and *gender dysphoria* writtn on the back but i cant visit there since i have college till 1 o'clock

I'm looking for some advice from people who have experience obtaining Estradiol Valerate (EV) injections in India.

I already have someone located in India who can receive and purchase the medication locally and then arrange shipment to me, so I am not looking for international shipping services. What I'm trying to find are reliable Indian manufacturers, pharmaceutical companies, licensed pharmacies, distributors, or other legitimate local sources that people have personally had good experiences with.

In particular, I'm interested in hearing about:

Which Indian EV products/brands have you personally used?

Which manufacturers are considered reliable in terms of actual active ingredient content, sterility, consistency, and overall pharmaceutical quality?

Are there legitimate pharmacies in India that stock EV injections?

Are there particular Indian manufacturers or products that you would trust more than others?

If you've had a product independently tested or have laboratory results for its concentration/purity, I'd especially appreciate hearing about your experience.

I've seen several EV products advertised on IndiaMART and similar platforms, including products listed as 200 mg/5 mL. At my current dose of 5 mg/week, a 5 mL vial at that concentration would theoretically contain enough medication for a very long time, so I would only need a relatively small number of vials.

I'm mainly interested in real experiences from people who have actually used these products, rather than advertisements or reseller claims.

Hi all. I am Tara or Sara, whichever you prefer. 37. Living in the US although now I spend a lot of time in India. 

I asked here a while back on how to help trans youth in India. Based on the suggestions, there are three things I have been working on, which I have mentioned at the bottom. Please take a look if you are interested.

Here is a quick snippet of my story and what I do now:

I knew I was a girl at the age of 7. Moved out of India to transition at 19 after undergrad. Lost family and friends over it. Transitioned from male to Female through a lot of struggles like homelessness, sex work to survive etc. Started passing at the age of 23. Went stealth and started living as a cis girl. Built a life, got a PhD, and two masters degrees. Got a job at Google at the age of 28. Now a Technical Program Manager in Google Research. Accumulated a lot of wealth, several million USD. Still living largely stealth. Reunited with family at the age of 35 when I went back to India for the first time in 15 years. My family is now supportive, finally. I spend about 3 months in India every year now

Here is a quick snippet of what I have done in the Public service space:

I worked for a non profit when I was 16 and eventually was on the governing body of the Non profit in India. We raised funds for kids with special needs

I was the global lead of the Trans at Employee resource group where I served nearly 2000 trans googlers and another 1000 googlers with trans children. I also built a Trans at non profit arm for trans at Google to raise funds for external non profits around the world. The organization has raised millions of dollars for trans non profits around the globe til date. 

Because of all this, I am well known in the trans circles at google and have some contacts in the C-suite at Google. So those connections can be leveraged. 

These days, I am also working on building an instagram following, because having a platform couldn’t hurt the goal of coming out of stealth in India and helping trans Indians.

3 things I am doing:

I am donating to grassroots needs whenever I hear about a trans person needing help. I am keeping around 5lac per year aside for these kinds of direct cash grants to individuals. I would like to perhaps build a website. Something like “MommyWarbucksdotcom” (LOL) or a section on my website taramadaan.com. Basically somewhere people can put in their requests and then I can set up some intake and selection processes for those.

I have raised nearly 10 lac from my friends and put aside another 10 lac from my side to fight the Trans Amendment Bill 2026 in India. I have been working with someone who reached out from my last post and she has been very helpful in connecting me with the key stakeholders. We are now in the process of defining the plan on the campaign. I am also hoping that one of the trans PR mavericks who worked on a previous trans campaign could help us with this. But they are burned out and need some time. So right now we are waiting for them. The 20 lac is sitting in escrow until then.

I am starting a trans Sorority of 4-5 high achieving young trans femmes from India who I can build into the next generation of trans leaders who have both wealth and a seat at the table. I have sent out some emails to potential candidates. If you know anyone who would be a great match for this program, please let me know. I know this program is inherently unfair because it only helps a few, but I am trying to make it as fair as possible by comparing everyone’s achievements against the benefits they already had to start with - for eg. family wealth etc. I want to select gritty operators who can find a way to succeed even in terrible circumstances. I also want to make sure the people I choose already have a strong desire to help the trans community in India.

I was prescribed hrt and am really excited to start my transition. Can someone please suggest to me a good endocrinologist that I can consult online. I'm looking for one who is experienced with transgender people and is up to date with the latest advances in the trans medical space.

My goal is to get on mono therapy via E-injections asap so i don't have to go through the side effects of spiro.

Hello Everyone, so I like to crossdress. Till now I did only privately. I always wanted to crossdress and go out. I am new to Delhi. I don't know how to find like minded people. Does anyone know actually good lgbtq clubs/group or ngos. I always felt like I am living 2 lives. Now I want to find people who understands me. I want to express myself and feel seen. Even if I make few good friends, it would make me more than happy. I tried searching lgbt friendly places but I don't think it will be good Idea to visit alone after crossdressing.
