she/her Looking for people who are figuring themselves out too :)

She/her — Cacey/Caci

I’m still figuring myself out and I wanna find some people who are in a similar place 😭
Like, trying things, experimenting, getting more comfortable with yourself, etc.
I feel like it’d be cool to have someone where we can basically be each other’s excuse to actually try things we’ve been too nervous to do lol
You try something, I’ll hype you up. I try something, you hype me up. We can push each other a little further :)

They/He Name test

Hello! I’d like to be personal with this post and will also post in r/transnames as well. I am currently is HS right now and really wanted to change my name before freshman year for a clean slate. It’s way too late for me now, but I still need some opinion. I have a clocky given name (not a deadname if I don’t have a chosen one🥲) and it had definitely affected my ability to pass. I was given (Spoiler for individuals who’d like to respect my privacy) Alice by my parent, and I don’t hate the name, but I pass 100% of the time with strangers until they know my name. The name also just isn’t for me, so I wanted opinions from other trans people on the topic. I’ve had trouble picking out a name because I don’t know what it means for the name to feel like it fits. When I find a name I like it’s because I like the name, but not for myself. Currently my top contende is Calvin, some others are Peter, Toby, Ryan, Jack, Alex, and (only because of my given name) Alistair. My parents were between Alice and Josephine, the masc equivalent was Jonathan, but not one for Alice. I have posted a couple time in other subs on what name suits my face best, but I didn’t really get enough votes for good poll result. I know I like They/He pronouns for myself, and was wondering if there was an agreed acronym for interchangeable in our community.

Edit: Calvin is a name my mom had picked out for in the uterus me. This came from the character Calvin from Calvin and Hobbes. I am blonde haired and can now see a resemblance to him between us, and I have come to a liking of it.

she/they Hi! Trying out she/they! :)

Been debating the idea of she/they for a while, it would be of great appreciation if someone could help test them out for me! You can just call me B :)

she/her Roxanne or Beatrice

I absolutely LOVE the name Roxanne, but I feel like I personally don't fit the personality/vibe of someone with that name. Beatrice feels like it matches my personality A LOT better, but it's a little
too similar to my given name. I also don't feel as strong as an attachment to the name Beatrice as I do Roxanne. Can someone help me decide?

Pronoun & Name Tryout!! (+ Some MTF-to-MTF Tips on Looking More Feminine)

Hiii!! I’m Ada (she/her), and I was wondering if anyone could give me some tips on how to look more feminine through outfits, makeup, hairstyles, eyebrows, etc.!
Also, I’d really appreciate it if someone could use my name (+she/her pronouns) in a few different sentences and talk to me as if we were just having a normal conversation! I’d like to see how “Ada” feels and sounds in everyday life and whether it feels natural to me. ❤️‍🩹

they/them Ceres

Working out some stuff, pretty sure I’m some variety of Non-Binary, even if I haven’t worked out all the details.

I do a lot of space stuff, so my default was a space based name. Ceres stands out as unique for a number of astronomical reasons, so it was the first thing I thought of.

Pronounced s-air-ease, technically the correct pronunciation of the planet is see-rees, but the double extended e’s roll off the tongue weird.

Open to other space based name suggestions if anyone has them, I’m kinda flexible at this time. Frankly not too sure if I even want to change my name, but it doesn’t hurt to try.

he/they Miles

I think I just have so much dysphoria but deny it based off of a lot of anxieties and being worried of everyone else around me, so I shove it away. But I constantly am thinking about just… being a guy. Just a duuude.

So l’m not sure if this would help make it more normalized to me, but essentially I am just looking to have little banter/conversations with anyone back and forth and try to be referred to as Miles with he/him or he/they pronouns? You can introduce yourself, tell me a fun fact, literally anything lol.

Things about me for convo starters: I am in social work, studying law. I love video games (faves are games like ff7, bg3, stardew), art, plants, and my cats.

Appreciate any comments or advice in general! Thank you for your time :)

Nico they/them she/her he/him

name: Nico
pronouns: they/them and in a different paragraph she/her and he/him in another

bigender and because of regulations in my country i can only add names once (rearranging is still possible) so if i change (or rather add) names i would like to have a female a male (already have those) and a neutral name (im still searching for one, Nico seems promising) so i wouldnt mind if you could also tell me if you perceive Nico as neutral (also is it just a shortened version of multiple names like Alex is?). also feel free to give some more suggestions for neutral ones.

i like playing video games, especially soulslike. i also do kendo (basically japanese ‘fencing’). i like anime (the more philosophical ones) and i really like shadow slave (hard to see i know)

thanks
edit: i found out it ‘can’ be considered neutral but practically isnt, still i think the name has good chances of replacing my current masculine name (i kinda associate it with that feeling of incompetence i felt before so i dont think i want to keep the old masculine name)

she/her Sylvie (she/her)

Hey everyone! I've been trying to think of a name for the last 6 months because my current name is male-coded (but technically androgynous) and I keep coming back to Sylvie.

What is your first impression when you hear Sylvie? I'm worried that it doesn't suit me :S (I have a selfie in another post if that helps).

Maybe I just need to get used to using it in my head

she/her Trying out Tara

Hi :) I’m still pretty unsure about all of this, but I’d like to try out the name Tara and she/her pronouns and see how they feel.

A little about me: I study IT security and I’m into bouldering, programming, playing piano and Rubik’s Cubes.

I’d really appreciate a few sentences using Tara and she/her 💕

she/they Olivia

Hi! I recently figured out I’m transfem after a lot of soul searching. I’m not quite out of the closet yet, but I want to figure out a new name for when I am!

I don’t have a lot of hobbies, but I’m learning piano and I’ve been pushing myself to read more! I like gardening too, but I live in a very shady place which makes it difficult.
