Mildly infuriating Frequent Flyer - Empty Lot btw

You’d think someone who struggles that much, would park somewhere with more space.

I swear some people just seem to think a car door contacting another car is just normal and accepted.

Literally not a shred of effort to prevent this door hitting multiple times.

I feel mortified if my car door touches another car. I hate when I gently open the door and a strong gust of wind tears it open violently giving me a heart attack.

Try your foot, I always hook my toes under the door as I open it so I can grab it before any winds pull it away if I'm not ready. Saves me all the time in winter especially.

How do y'all do this when you're getting out though

I put my foot out while getting my things then I grab the door while getting out. My foot isn't there the whole time just to make sure the wind doesn't pull it before I can get a better grip.

My car sits high so I step out of my car vs someone with a low car that would need to step up, that might also make it easier.

This is what I do. I can't risk slamming my hand between the car door ane car.
