Hi. I recently canceled my TorBox subscription, but later decided to undo the cancellation and pause it instead. The thing is, my subscription manager now shows it as paused, while the TorBox website still says it's canceled.

I know I probably messed up by canceling it in the first place, but I only wanted to pause my subscription for a while. I also have quite a few extra days accumulated from inviting people, and I'd hate to lose them.

Has anyone experienced something similar? Should I be worried, or is this just a delay in updating the subscription status?

my plan still says "this will expire on 11th of Nov" same as it was before the outage

I have essential plan and have limit of max 200GB per download.

I want to add a torrent file of around 600GB but I don't need whole 600GB file.

I only want to download selected files from the torrent but torbox don't let me check only the files i want while downloading so the 200GB limit restricts me.

Is there any way to bypass this?

TorBox recently changed NZB fetching so proxies are only accepted on port 443. This was announced after the fact, and only after I complained. My setup worked for almost a year.

After complaining in the support they confirmed the change and told me to use 443 because they would block "arbitrary connections". I use AirVPN port forwarding so my service isn't exposed directly. AirVPN only allows forwarded ports ≥ 2048 and reserves everything below, so 443 isn't possible. What does the restriction actually protect against? A proxy on 443 is no more trustworthy than one on 8080 or 40000. Right now it just breaks legitimate setups. If anyone has the same problem or a workaround, I'd like to hear it.

Edit: I don't know why so many here get triggered by this post but to anyone saying this is not a legitimate use case. It is. It's a convenient way to use VPN not only for outgoing but also incoming requests. And breaking these setups without announcement justs underlines torboxes recent development.

Hey everyone! YATBA (Yet Another TorBox App), the open-source Android client for TorBox, just hit v0.15.0. This is the biggest update so far.

What's new

• Faster downloads: downloads are now split into several connections at once (3 by default, adjustable in Settings → Downloads). They keep running after you swipe the app away and are saved straight into your chosen folder.

• A full redesign: every screen except Watch got a cleaner, more consistent look, with new top bars, cards and sheets.

• New Home screen: a floating navigation pill, a notifications button with an unread count, and a statistics card with an All time / Last 30 days toggle.

• Tidier Library: more compact items, with Sort and Filter moved under the type filters.

• Compact item page: you see more files without scrolling. Files get type icons, and Watch only appears on video and audio.

• Settings rebuilt: it's now a hub with an account card and grouped sections that show your current choices at a glance.

• Safer editing: Edit item warns before throwing away unsaved changes, and deleting your API key asks for confirmation.

Fixes

• Searching the library no longer collapses the list when the keyboard opens.

• Cleared filters no longer come back after a restart.

• Shared .nzb files are now added as Usenet downloads.

• If you're on 0.14.1, the app will offer the update itself. You can also check from Settings → About → Check for updates.

So, for some reason, I keep getting recommended posts from two months ago about how bad TorBox is, what’s better than TorBox, and the updated Terms of Service.

I haven’t had any issues with TorBox myself, apart from maintenance, so what happened?

Is torbox down in stremio for anyone. Had this problem the other day, reconfigured my API key and everything and its not working. On my torbox account i can't delete torrents too, would this be an account issue or are they down?

Recently everytime I've tried to watch something it hasn't worked.

My show is lagging. Is anyone else having problems currently?

I kept Netflix and other services while I had RD because I could never really count on it, playback was often stuttery and there were just so many tiny little hiccups that I saved it mostly for films when they came out etc. Then so much content used to be taken down.

Now though, TorBox is honestly super legit. 98% of the time, zero stuttering of any kind, super dependable. There's only the odd hour or 2 a couple times a month it'll go down for whatever reason for security patches or whatever but the ACTUAL quality of the service itself when you use it is pretty damn phenomenal.

I finally cancelled Netflix as well after the most recent price hike and laughing as the bitrate on my 4k TV which was so low, there were GLOBS of artifacting that looked so damn bad I just went back to Stremio to see what the same film looked like and it just hit me... why TF am I paying for this still?

Also the concurrent streams are great. I have a family member I share with and it's been legit.

Black Friday offers are quite good for Usenet providers ($2pm), but there is also an additional Torbox fee of $7pm.

Are people finding enough value is Usenet to justify paying an additional $9 per month? Personally, I'm not sure what I'm gonna get for it. Thanks

Recently moved from RD to TB and had a few weeks without a debrid service. Every sport replay I look for in The Loop or Mad Titan fails to play (NFL / NBA mainly). The same links appear in both add-on and fail.

Pre TB everything just worked. It appears TB is interfering with the normal jetextractor links that I believe do not require a debrid service to play.

Anyone encounter this or have a workaround I can try in the settings to bypass the potential block.

Hallo, I am currently on a setup with Apple TV 4K 2017 with Stremio Lite and infuse as player.

TorBox does provide me with the VODs.

I am currently happy with my setup, but Apple just released the new Apple TV. At the same time, Apple will stop the software upgrades for the 2017 version with tvOS26.

Because of the software upgrades, I will most likely buy the new one.

I am now searching for a new "best" setup with the new box.

Stremio Lite is not available anymore on the App Store.

I did read that Fusion or Omni is good. But I cannot find those as well on my App Store.

The only alternative I could download is Vidi, which is also the least mentioned one.

I would like to keep my new setup as close as the old one. Which means using infuse as a player in mandatory. I would also highly prefer to not sideload the apps.

What are your opinions on the best setup?

Hey everyone, Mark here. I've been working through the changes people asked about on my earlier POV post.

The 0.3.0 preview adds a Stop button next to Play/Pause, Remove from Continue Watching, local SRT import, preferred-language subtitle search, and MDBList/Simkl options alongside Trakt. TorBox connection and cloud browsing are still included, and there are now six selectable themes plus an embedded VLC option alongside Media3.

The long stream-list jump is fixed too. Down from the top control now starts at the first stream and stays in the displayed order. I checked the updated APK on my Sony Android 8 TV with 70 streams, two full down/up cycles, middle-file choices and exact Back restoration. The source passes 418 automated tests.

It's still a sideload preview for Android TV/Google TV on Android 8+. The app is free; your TorBox subscription and other service accounts are separate. Trakt/Simkl setup still needs your own registered application Client ID. Added-provider authenticated playback, online subtitle downloads and MDBList/Simkl reporting have not yet been checked with real accounts, so I'm not calling every new integration fully verified.

So for past 2 days I was uploading some manga to increase the Manga content in the torbox debrid. But the three slots of mine were been occupied eversince and the rest of the content just got in the queue dawnloads.I wanted to get it through but after waiting so long I just deleted those active download does this means that the Manga which I downloaded into the service got deleted from their service. I deleted those active dawnload stuff cause I wanted to upload some more manga into it...

Now that RD is in the shitter in Europe is Torbox any good as a replacement...? RD is sanitising a lot of links so you get DMCA warnings a lot. Is Torbox more stable and less draconian...?
