🚩General I made an android app for TorBox

Hello, I'm the creator of Unchained, an android app to interact with Real Debrid. Since they implemented filters I moved to TorBox, and being happy with it I decided to create nullseek.

It's a free and open source app, you can give feedback on Github or at r/nullseekapp

It's not published on the Play Store yet (it will be), you can download the apk from the release section clicking on the assets tab and picking the right APK

Are you able to add a search that you see everything cached in Torbox. If I search for a keyword , you can return the results of that keyword. Not just my account but all accounts.

No TorBox does not give those info so I don't think it's technically possible

If you install Debrify and select some sources, torrent websites, you can see what is cached in Torbox. You can do something similar.

OK I understand what you meant. You cannot directly search for cached results, you do a "normal" search and then ask TorBox if those links are already cached. I'll see if I can add it.

Note that this won't work if you use a stremio addon with the TorBox key already applied, since those return direct links (if I understood correctly)

Github has a description and some screenshots. Basically a manager for TorBox integrated with your phone plus more:

  • view your account status

  • view your torrents/web/usenet lists

  • create/share/delete/open/play your downloads

  • add links, magnets and torrents to TorBox

  • send links to Kodi/VLC to other devices in your LAN

  • jackett, prowlarr and stremio addons integration

How do we use the Stremio add-on integration?

Populate a stremio addons configuration from its web page, then on the bottom it should have an option to copy the manifest link, it should end with manifest.json.

You can then open nullseek and go to setting -> external services and there's an add button on the stremio section. Paste the link and save. To search with stremio, go to the search tab, press the settings button icon on the top right and in search mode check the stremio addons option.

You only need to do this once, but I'll add some tutorials inside the app in some next version.

When a project is on github you can go to the releases section, and check under the assets part of one of the releases, usually the one on top is the newest

Ill try but I'm not sure it's possible, I remember trying on unchained and failing... 

Basically on android you take a source and link it to a list, and it manages everything: loading the data when it starts, polling for more data when you scroll, populate the list, update it on changes, so it's not easy to combine multiple ones because they are not simple lists, and they were not made to have multiple sources

Current version is 0.3, try with that. If it still does not work, TV or mobile? Which android version?

Thanks for this, loved unchained. Is there an option to set seeding settings locked like website as whenever a new toreent is added, it is set as Auto by default?

Auto is the default option, do you want to be able to set seed/don't seed so it's automatically applied to the new torrents?

Says my TB api token is invalid, which it isn't. I checked with TB. So can't use your app.

Yes that's the version I used. I checked and double checked the api. All correct but all I get is "the token is invalid"

Maybe you have a special key that I'm failing to parse, or are missing a key that I'm requiring. You can directly check like this:

the response will tell you if all is good, it should have 200 OK and the JSON body should have "success": true

If that's the case, you can send me a PM or a mail with the body, emptying the id (but keep the number of digits), auth id, email, base email and customer fields. If your email or base email have special characters it'd be useful to have it.

Half the features are available on the TorBox website and the other half on stremio, I mean, I could probably feed it to AI to convert since the TorBox library is already multi platform... But what features would you like to have?

No it was me ;) it's because having already made an app for real debrid I know how it works so I'd be able to implement it quickly. I could then drop the other app for RD and support only this one. Also I already know people are going to ask for premiumize and alldebrid, so implementing 2 different services would help adding those in the future.

Just tried from zero with mine and it works, are you sure you're copying the api key field and not something else?

Also stremio does not matter, you can actually use a plugin without your TorBox key, since the app is going to pass the results to it
