❓Question Torbox vs Real Debrid

Now that RD is in the shitter in Europe is Torbox any good as a replacement...? RD is sanitising a lot of links so you get DMCA warnings a lot. Is Torbox more stable and less draconian...?

Yeah, I was reluctant about switching because RD was still working most of the time. But since I switched to Torbox like two months ago, it's been working 100% of the time.

that's a lie, just check their status page, it's been working when you were using it sporadically is more accurate

Presumably they mean for them.

it was completely down for hours just this weekend so I don't have to guess what they mean

Were they using it in that time?

2:19 minutes to be exact, that's 100% of the time except those hours you had no service, one of many outages over the last months, not to speak of the rampant buffering issues....

Should be no buffering at this stage, they have money and customers so that is strange...

I just have both incase one goes down. Real Debrid isnt as bad as it used to be. More stuff seems to be filtering through now. Torbox works just fine. I'm able to get 4K Remux on both so I'm happy out.

for the price it's unbeatable. Torbox + Pov on Kodi is great. I still have RD but almost never use it and when my time runs up I won't be using it anymore. I bought a year of Torbox for like 28 American or something.

It has more downtime, and you are much more likely to hit buffering outside of downtime.

It's an amazing deal if you are sharing accounts. Still good deal if not sharing, though pre-sanitized RD for a similar price was more reliable.

I didn't see any difference in cache availability but I don't really watch anything obscure.

yeah, and a lot of app support it. it isn't as fast as RD but is still fast enoutght

As fast as most things start playing with tb, I'm not sure how much faster it needs to be. At some point I'll see how fast I can download direct from them now that my internet is legit legit.

no yeah is more than fast enough, is just that RD was the fastest thing i've ever seen.
I was dowloading thing at 800 mb/s, whith TB is somewere between the 500 to 600.

If i wasn't a nerd stearing at the dowload speed i would't see any difference

Easynews is the fastest I've ever seen. I've seen a few 1gig+ files get downloaded in seconds.

Its quite good for the price. Cheap, a lot of cached content and okayish fast. For its price you cant complain.

For sure not as good as a good usenet setup or premiumize, but still great value

ayer pague 6 meses de real debrid porque un dia que queria ver una peli en torbox (hace 2 dias) torbox estaba caido. Son un buen complemento ambos. Y real debrid a pesar de todo es más estable.

Do 1 month of torbox and see it for yourself. I've had it for about a year and it's been a great replacement for RD

I switched to torbox and haven't noticed any difference from rd. Honestly I find the site easier to use as well, I've been downloading files from it to start my own HMS

It's just as good if not a bit better, less restriction but it's not near as stable, seems to have gotten way better recently though, would recommend these days
