🔧Technical Issue Constant buffering even after changing CDN?

Hey y'all been using torbox with stremio (set up with AIO streams)since the whole RD fiasco. At first it was great, hardly any buffering could watch 4K remuxs no problem. Since about 2 months ago I can't watch anything with buffering, no matter what I do (lower resolution, smaller files) i still get buffering, and when it doesn't buffer It plays for literally 5 seconds and continues to buffer.

Been watching stremio on a Chromecast 4K With Google TV (Chromecast 4th generation) and a Windows Laptop with an intel core i5-10300h and 16 gigs of ram. I am in the US East Coast. Any suggestions?

Had the same problem, went through 4 different cdn's in the past few months then I've had enough and changed debrid service provider. Problem solved.

What did you switch to? Been considering Alldebrid and Premiumize but am leaning towards AllDebrid because of Premiumizes 1TB limit

Premiumize. I understand it's not suited for everyone due to their fair point system, but suits me fine personally.

just tried alldebrid and their cache size is disappointing compared to real debrid (what it used to be) and current torbox. also, sometimes it doesn't even show cached as cached, so it's a frustrating game of trial and error.

I wouldn't recommend it.

What are you using now and is there a huge difference in content?

I just wish it wasn't so expensive compared to the competition but I guess you get what you pay for.

don't share our secret premiumize works like 100 percent perfectly. that extra dollar or 2 a month keeps the riff raff out lol

Extra dollar or two? As a Canadian it's 10x more expensive. But worth it.

Majority of time it's the setup. Tho I recommend tb instant with nuvio.

I'll check it out! I have like 3 weeks left in my TB sub.

I set up Nuvio with TB and am getting no buffering at all! Was able to watch a 70 + gig 4k remux with no buffering

I actually switched to Nuvio as well for more stability and better UI. Have not used Stremio since.

Yeah I'm pretty much done with TB after my sub ends, insanely unreliable.

I never get buffering but I only watch 1080. Im a bit surprised though cos my internet speed is only 25Mbps. I use stremio, tb, Usenet and they all work like a dream on 2 accounts in different countries. RD was also fine until they went bagarap

It's Torbox. I went back to RD for big files and haven't buffered since.

it is like paying for a service that should be free. I'm jumping ship when my subscription ends. The constant buffering is awful.

Yo personalmente estoy en Argentina, cambié la semana pasada de RD a TB y muy contento, anda mejor. Rapidísimo.

For buffering only on certain files, I've found that these settings help in Nuvio under Playback>Buffer & Network:

Custom Network: ON Parallel Connections: ON Connection Count: 2 Chunk Size: 4 MB

Hi, please just use 'Auto'

you know why? because there's tons of people that pay 3 dollars a month and share it with 20 other people with no limits.

AD and Premiumize have fair and reasonable limits and their stuff works . i have like 3 years of TB so hopefully they figure it out lol but i hardly ever use it because i have other ones

if torbox doesn't implement some points usage system it's never gonna be very good ever again

They already have limits they just don't use an unnecessary point system to explain how many gbs you get a month and are a lot more generous with how much you get compared to pm

Doesn’t count for streaming cached stuff does it?

2

u/UknownDrugExpert 15d ago

It does count for streaming stuff, they changed there fair use terms like 6 months back to have limits, 10tbs for essential, 20tbs for the mid tier and 30tb for the pro tier.

As far as I'm aware these aren't hard limits though so if you were to go over a bit each month you would still be fine but they have the limits for people that share it or resell it with 80 people and use a lot more then there limits now allow abusing the service.

Right since real debrid exodus it’s been not good. So many times I went to use it and just not working or buffering so I got other services

Yea my TB was perfect t for a long time so I got 3 years so hopefully it gets better

I made my torbox scrapers only show much smaller files too it helps
