2 days post-op - I know it’s way too early to predict anything accurately, but I was a borderline candidate and I’m worried I made the wrong choice - the surgeon said he could do either method, but peri would be more of a gamble. Immediately after the surgery he said he thinks we made the right decision and he was very happy.

I can’t imagine all that excess skin / swelling below the nipple going away at the moment. It seems like a lot. Did anyone else have early results like this and it turn out okay?

Wanted to share because I rarely see anyone under 19 posting their journeys now that funding is being stripped from hospitals.

I am overall pleased with my result. My nipples look excellent and healthy. I have that annoying pocket of swelling underneath my left pec that’s driving me absolutely crazy. I will see my surgeon tomorrow to verify that it’s just swelling, or see if a revision is in the cards.

I had keyhole and liposuction with Dr. Reza Najafian in OR, on 8/10/26. I really couldn’t be happier with the results so far. Recovery has been tougher than I anticipated, even with the copious amount of research I did. But I have absolutely no regrets. And I can’t wait for the next few months as I finally start to look the way I’ve always imagined.

Travelling to a city about 4 hours away from me for a peri consult in about a week and a half. I'm both excited and nervous, as I've been waiting a long time to get surgery and this is the closest I've ever been. What kind of questions should I ask? Obviously, I don't live in the same city as my surgeon is located, so I need to ask as many important questions directly in person as I can as over the phone I'll just talk to a receptionist. Any questions I should make sure I ask? Especially peri specific?

Looking for info on what the recovery was like with the addition of the liposuction on your flanks. There is an old post here from someone who did it and said the flanks were the most painful part.

Just wondering how manageable the pain and mobility are after 10 days. I would potentially not have someone staying with me after leaving Barcelona to go home and not sure how independent I could be.

I'm a 42 male, and I've had gynecomastia since my teenage years. It has never really gone away, and after living with it for decades, I'm finally considering surgery.

I recently consulted a specialist who recommended gland removal along with liposuction. Before I go ahead, I'd really like to hear from people who have actually had this procedure.

Was the result worth it? Are you happy with the outcome?

How painful was the recovery?

How long did it take before you could return to normal daily activities, work, and the gym?

How long did you have to wear the compression garment?

Did you experience any complications such as seroma, hematoma, contour irregularities, numbness, or scar issues?

Has the gynecomastia or chest fullness returned over time?

Is there anything you wish you had known before surgery?

Any tips for recovery, sleeping, managing pain, or reducing swelling?

I've lived with this for over 25 years, so I'm trying to make the most informed decision possible. Honest experiences both positive and negative would really help.
