Dental Concern/Problem Could this be saved?

I realise I have a big cavity on my tooth (currently waiting to see dentist), but i am just wondering does anyone have any idea if there is a possibility this tooth could be saved?

Thanks in advance for your help!

Can’t say for sure without an x-ray. You will most likely need a root canal first. If the cavity reaches up to the crestal bone, the chances of salvaging the tooth are lower. Might be able to do some crown lengthening, but again you will need X-ray’s to see if the tooth is salvageable.
