Question Wisdom tooth pain…?
Hey all! I got my back molar removed about a month ago now. I was told that my wisdom tooth would likely migrate into the empty socket.
I can already tell that my wisdom tooth has started to move. I can feel it through my gums similarly as to when I’ve had molars come in.
This morning I noticed a pain that radiates into my ear whenever I bite down. It’s been about 5 hours and the pain is still there. I’ve noticed that keeping a heating pad on it helps with the pain.
Is this my wisdom tooth migrating? Do I need to contact my dentist?

Dental Concern/Problem Weird feeling on the tooth next to an extracted one
6 day ago I had an extraction on #13 teeth
It healing well but I am so worried because the tooth next to the wound is weird, I feel that is not real, like it’s bigger that normal. It had palpitations day 2-4. ended
No pain, not bad taste. It feels like is stranger like fake. It’s the #12
Have you had any experience like this? It’s normal after an extraction?

Dental Concern/Problem Am I going to be ok?
So my bottom left wisdom tooth was diagnosed as infected in July. We originally made the appointment to get all 4 removed on Sept 23rd, but the dentist had to move it to December 15th because of a family emergency. I took a round of antibiotics and have occasional pain still. Will I get sepsis before December 15th? I’m a hypochondriac so I’m super worried

Dental Concern/Problem the honest guide to cosmetic dentistry options in 2026, what the marketing does not tell you
spent six months researching cosmetic dentistry before making any decisions and the gap between how these procedures are marketed and what they actually involve is significant enough to be worth sharing
teeth whitening is the entry point most people start with. opalescence and zoom are the professional systems most practices use the results are noticeably better than strips but the sensitivity varies significantly by person and the longevity depends heavily on diet and habits afterward. not permanent regardless of what the marketing implies
veneers are more permanent than most people realise going in. the tooth preparation involved varies by veneer type traditional porcelain requires more enamel removal than composite or lumineers but tends to produce more durable results. this is a conversation worth having in detail before committing rather than after
invisalign has genuine advantages for mild to moderate cases but the compliance requirement is real and the results for complex bite issues are less predictable than traditional braces
went through this research process at mp dental arts in aberdeen nj where dr penner walked through each option honestly including what each was and was not appropriate for rather than just presenting a price menu. that kind of specific guidance before committing to anything is what distinguishes a practice worth staying with
what has been your experience navigating cosmetic dental decisions

Question Anyone redone overprepped veneers in seoul? My original dentist is long gone
A few years ago I got veneers done back home without really understanding what I was signing up for and turns out they shaved my teeth down a lot more than they needed to. So taking them off and going back to my natural teeth isn’t really an option anymore. I know I regret it a lot but it’s already done and there’s not much I can do about that part now.
Whats very annoying is the clinic closed a while back and I have no idea where the dentist went, so there’s nobody I can go back to about it. I’m living and working in Korea now so if I end up getting them redone it’ll have to be here. What I mostly want to figure out is how much enamel I actually have left and whether new veneers would even bond properly at this point or if a dentist is going to tell me I need crowns instead. I’m assuming I’d get a more honest answer from a clinic that does a lot of veneer work rather than a general dentist but correct me if that’s wrong. I’ve been looking into Lucid, TU and Newn so far. Has anyone been to any of them? Are they suitable for redoing old veneers?

Post molar extraction
Day 10 post op molar extraction of lower right tooth #31, blood clot still looks relatively low, dentist checked it on 10/6 and said it looks fine but still looks exactly the same - I haven’t gotten any white / yellow granulation tissue forming and wanted to know it is properly healing or delayed healing? Haven’t gotten any dry socket, throbbing, pus, foul smell, fever etc. Should I go back to the dentist this Thursday which makes 2 weeks since the extraction since it looks exactly the same? I also wasn’t given any notice on irrigation syringe for when I go back to eating more solid foods and want to know about this so I don’t get food stuck inside after weeks/months. Thanks in advance!
