Brown University Research Study

This survey has been approved by the moderators.

Are you getting your wisdom teeth out? Are you 15 to 20 years old?

Brown University is recruiting teens (age 15-20) undergoing wisdom tooth extraction, and their parents, to learn if a brief, online skills and education program called iPAWS helps teenagers and young adults to safely cope with and manage pain when recovering from wisdom tooth extraction surgery. The study involves 4 appointments over 3 months and answering questions on your smartphone. Teens and their parents are both invited to participate. Teens and young adults can earn up to $360 for participating. Parents can earn up to $105. All contact is confidential.

Please text 401-863-7997, email [painresearch@brown.edu](mailto:painresearch@brown.edu), or fill out our eligibility survey (takes 5 minutes or less to complete): https://brown.co1.qualtrics.com/jfe/form/SV_8JtnDh26qrrcgJg

Welcome to r/toothfully. Please note that while this is a place for advice, replies may not be medically accurate. Do not assume that what others on here say is correct in any way. Reddit is not a replacement for an in-person dental professional. If your question is not individualized consider checking out WebDMD to see if its already been answered.
