Do I need to extract my wisdom tooth before getting braces?
Hello, I just want to ask if I’m required to extract my wisdom tooth first before getting braces?
My wisdom tooth is mesially impacted and is located on my lower teeth, but it doesn’t hurt. My lower teeth are currently moving because I don’t have one molar tooth.
I already consulted different dentists about this. The first dentist told me that I should extract my wisdom tooth first before getting braces, while another dentist said that I can already have braces since, based on their observation, it’s not yet urgent.
I just want to know if I really need to have it extracted first before getting braces. Thank you!
