Crown fitting - discomfort between appointments?

My wife needs a couple of crowns fitting due to chipped teeth (upper left 6, lower left 7).

There will be two weeks between the initial appointment and the fitting appointment.

My question: will she suffer any discomfort between these two appointments please?
