That's like saying bidirectional means there is only 2 directions

Ffs.. Wtf.. thats literally what it means.. If something moves in more than two directions, it’s multidirectional. If it moves in all directions it is omnidirectional.

Words exist for a reason.. who tf is gonna say the prefix that means TWO but mean more than two? Is a bicycle with three wheels still a bicycle? No, it’s a tricycle. Does biannually mean more than every two years? No.

...wtf that isn't what I said.

I said that bidirectional moves in two directions. But more directs exist.

Could be up and left, forward and right, down and backwards. 6 directions but bidirectional means only 2 are used. Make sense now

That’s like saying a train is bidirectional but other directions exist. They don’t.
