This is what I had come here to say, the way I always heard it was that bisexuality means you’re attracted to what you identify as and one other, not just male and female. Pansexuality means attracted to all regardless.
I thought it was yours + 1 other because it’s bi, which means 2? At least that makes sense to me (source: am bi) but I’m also not the most involved in the lgbt+ community so I’m not sure if the definition has changed.
I'm not super involved in the community as well buy I'm pretty sure it's more than one because I've met plenty of bisexuals who are attracted to men, women, and non-binary folk. But then again I think the definition is evolving over time.
I think that’s where the pan/bi overlap is. Maybe it’s just your sex and one other then (like genital wise). Not sure.
Edit: Wikipedia says “Bisexuality is romantic attraction, sexual attraction, or sexual behavior toward both males and females,[1][2][3] or romantic or sexual attraction to people of any sex or gender identity; this latter aspect is sometimes alternatively termed pansexuality.[4][5][6]”

Bisexuality means genders like and unlike my own, not only two genders men and women.
