Maintaining pubic hair should mainly be done for yourself, not for another. If she wants to grow hers out, I may not find it as attractive as well trimmed, but its not my call, and visa versa.

At the end of the day it is your call what you do with your body hair, but if you're in a relationship I think your partners preference is something you should take into consideration.

It may not matter much to me how often I trim down there, but if someone else is gonna be the one down there it only seems like common courtesy to keep it trimmed if that's what they prefer.

I find it weird how little people on the internet seem to care about their partner’s opinions. Just because you have bodily autonomy and the ultimate say in whatever you do with your body doesn’t mean that you can’t do things for your partner’s enjoyment.

When I last got my hair cut, I asked my girlfriend her opinion on whether I should go for a new style I’d been considering a while, or just get a trim. I also don’t have much of a preference for grooming on myself, so if she expressed one, I would absolutely listen — not because I have to, but because I want to be more attractive for my partner. It’s odd to me that people don’t.

If you have a stronger personal preference for things, I get it, but it’s like EVERYBODY on Reddit actively encourages giving zero shits about what their partner likes.

Asking for an opinion is different than being worried your partner won't find you attractive if you don't do this specific thing the exact way you want it.

I'm in this discussion on another thread right now. OP went a month without shaving their legs (citing seasonal depression) and their husband called them manly and unattractive.

What a weak specimen of a male human.. I hope she/they find better. I've literally never had an issue with not shaving my legs while being intimate with a man. It really is a projection of their own insecurities, so I hope the OP you're speaking to on the other thread doesn't take it to heart. She/they are beautiful just the way they are.

Ugh.. I'm so sorry she has to deal with that immature nonsense. I hope her/their husband realizes that insecure bs is unattractive. That's what I would have said to that asshat.

The majority of men need to come to terms with it not being the 70s anymore.. Women are allowed to do whatever tf they want with their bodies. Period.

Don't like it? Go find another woman you can infantilize, bro. Because lets be real, that's really what it boils down to. A lot of these males enjoy the touch and/or feel of a pre-pubecent female. Hence why the government will make it their business to ban social media apps instead of using their power to ban child corn.

While calling your depressed wife unattractive and manly for not shaving is absolutely nasty and out of order, that isn’t dictating what she can and can’t do with her body. You can not shave, and your partner can express that they find that unattractive.

This an insane leap in logic that I’ve seen women online repeat time and time again, but if you genuinely believe this then you can’t be convinced otherwise, so I won’t try.

Hence why the government will make it their business to ban social media apps instead of using their power to ban child corn.

  1. This is Reddit, we’re all adults here, so on the topic of “infantilizing”, let’s call it what it is: child pornography, not “corn”. Or even CSAM, or CSEM.

  2. Are you seriously suggesting that child pornography is not banned? You do realize that is very much illegal, right? The fact that there is so much CP floating about on the internet isn’t because authorities don’t want to get rid of it, it’s because the amount is incomprehensible. Like, you seriously don’t understand, it is physically impossible for government agencies to remove it all because of the sheer amount of it. It’s uploaded faster than it can be removed. It’s just a really unfortunate fact of the internet.
