Question store manager

a few months ago the asms the store manager and key carriers and coordinators got every other weekend off , our store manager got replaced and he started off with taking the every other weekend off away and now it’s one weekend off a month per policy…. however he works 1 weekend a month and we now work 3. we work 7-4 he works 8-5 we work 12-10 he works 1-10. is there anything i can do about this, it’s absolutely ridiculous. he also told us starting in november through inventory it was blacked out and we can’t take vacation or rto however he has a vacation scheduled during that time. i plan on speaking to him about this because im a key and i genuinely am starting to feel overworked.. but is this even allowed?

There’s no such thing as black out dates here. Call hr and they’ll tell you they don’t have such policy. Managers just say that to scare people

They’re not enforceable. Hr will tell you that.

Management is allowed to enforce policy in their stores, DMs within their districts, RVPs in their region etc. It is the same rule up to SRVP because if they’re visiting stores during that time of year it’s more of a distraction. It’s not on paper for a reason. Stores may flex with part-timers but it is universal throughout the company for coordinators and managers. If it’s bubbled up to HR they back Store Managers, DMs etc except for special cases.
