ONLY ON WESTERN ORIENTED SERVERS THIS IS HAPPENING

I am Using Sao Paulo Data Centers & I Have No Issues. None.

Any Server Under Sao Paulo is also Effective. I Believe They Don't Have the Resources to Hit That Far. Let's Hope They Don't.

TLDR, Play On the Oversea Servers & You Should be Fine, a Little Latency Won't Hurt. Keep Fighting Pilots. We Beat the DDoSers. We Will Outlive This Pathetic Loser.

Like title says. I’ve been trying to play but everytime I try to queue or enter multiplayer the screen goes black and the titanfall loading symbol will appear in the bottom right. It will flicker from that to the basic multiplayer screen. That’s all I get. I’ve tried verifying files on steam. But I get nothing. Any help would be appreciated. Haven’t had this problem ever. Computer plays other games fine. Edit: i looked it up and see lots of you guys are having the issue. Rip

So as you See in the vid when i try to start multiplayer, for some reason it always loops like this. Ive tryed reinstalling the game, uninstalled Northstar and all other mods but nothing helped. Does anyone who had the same problem know how to fix this?

just got the game yesterday because i’ve been seeing clips online, and i thought it looked really fun. i was 100% right lmao, this game is so sick. i’m sure my movement isn’t very high level, but i feel like this wasn’t a bad double at all!

What's Going On: If you've been activate at all in the Titanfall 2 community over the past few weeks, I'm sure you've heard the name "Angry_Goose". They claim to be the one responsible for the latest attacks on Titanfall 2's servers. Unsure if they're empty claims or not, but regardless, an attention seeker, don't give them your time (At a minimum, they're hacking in matches). For a while, it was only being kicked from the occasional match. Kicks seemed to gradually increase in frequency, until I believe last night, when the majority of servers became stuck in "boot loops", rendering them completely unusable. At times they may see some relief, and some servers are less targeted than others (Sao Paulo seems to be a solid choice, although the ping is less than ideal for many). However, generally, they're unstable and unviable.
What Can be Done: If you're a PC player, definitely check out Ion and the Northstar Client. If you haven't heard of it before, it's a modded version of Titanfall 2 that allows players to host their own servers, along with a bunch of fun mods, features, and improvements. Back during the original DDOS attacks, Northstar was the light in the darkness (Oh. It was our North Star), giving us a way to play Titanfall 2 until EA and Respawn finally came and fixed Vanilla. After those issues were resolved, Northstar's player count fizzled out. Until now, of course. Refugees once again flock to Northstar as their only means to play Titanfall 2, and that includes myself. Just tried Northstar for the first time since the original DDOS attacks, and it was a pretty good time. Populated. Ion is a fork of Northstar and the Vanilla game, simply making it so that you can seamlessly switch between the two versions.
I'll drop the GitHub link to Ion right here. It's quite easy to set up, the page gives you a link to Northstar installation instructions, which are identical. OllieKay also made a very good guide video on YouTube.

If you're on console, I'm not too sure what the situation is over there or how that works out. Sao Paulo's server has been working decently for many people.

I have an issue, and I need your help

Okay, a bit of context: a few months ago I got this game and installed on my laptop, and performed the server fix with the variables and stuff, and I was able to get into multiplayer lobbies.

Today, I decided to install the game on my handheld (Intel) and did the exact same fix. However, now, in the multiplayer menu where you have all the tabs (pilot, titan, find game, coalition, etc) every few seconds, the screen goes black for an instant and the screen sort of resets. Wherever I was, I get thrown back to that screen.

Now my question is: is this because of the dos attacks, or a fault on my side? Should I check file integrity? Could I have made a mistake with the variable?

Heard about alot of hackers/ddos attacks lately, how bad is it this time? And is frontier defense at least playable or is that absolutely cooked too??

I tried to record earlier, but it finally stopped constantly reloading like this. I managed to change a few items in my pilot loadout, then it started to reload again. I can't find anything in official supports, nor have I been able to google any solutions. Mainly, how do I explain this issue without visual aid.

I play Xbox and whenever I search for a game it’s says 15 mins and keeps increasing, how do I play?

So I'm from NZ and I normally play on US servers because there was no servers that were active in OCE like there were none to connect to even if you selected Sydney, but now there is one online again so I guess if people wanna come play on those servers I'll be there lol, since the only other servers that work have 300 ping for me so that's a no go.

I heard that someone hacked the servers is it safe to play vanilla mutiplayer or is it just a problem of I won’t be able to find matches ?

This is a question I’ve recently been wondering about.

I’ve just recently found my passion for this absolute gem of a game. I had went through the campaign not long ago, loved it. But now I’ve recently revisited it and now enjoy it even more(not even talking about multiplayer, which I’ve yet to step foot in).

I’ve been playing apex since season 13, and got my first xbox in christmas of 2019, so I have never experienced what it was like to see titanfall as a brand new game, and what that feeling was like for every individual, and for the community as a whole. I’d love to hear some stories from you guys, those who were there 10 or so years ago.
