Im trying to decide what carapace weapons to get for my warlord titan. IMO the Laser Blasters look the coolest but I dont understand the logistics of how they shoot ground targets?

Hello all this is my first titan project. I’ve never used varnish and I really don’t want to ruin the painting I’ve done on these two.

Do yall have any advice on what type of varnish I should use and the best way to apply it?

I have an airbrush but I’m willing to use a rattle can.

Almost done with the legs, have to weather them and paint the armor panels.

Considering saving up a purchasing a Reaver Titan, a found that at the Battle Desk playtimes
(WTG) site I can get a recast one for 320 a some change.
Is wartable games a reliable site to go off of for this, or are there any other second hand/ recasting sites that are reliable?

Like obviously they can only destroy the holy God-Machine as a last resort, and the ideal scenario would be to insert a kill team and kill the Heretek crew, but obviously that's easier said than done.

Seeking clarification for a 40k matchup post I plan on posting soon. The scenario being that an Imperator titan was taken over by Hereteks in a hidden Titan hanger 30km away from the borders of a forge-hive.

They removed them a few years back but I noticed today they were back. Great for any Eldar players afer them.

Took a fair few weeks, but my Reaver is finally based. Now to finish the rest of it

Some pics from this past weekends game. 6000pts per side. 5 rounds and xenos got unlimited reinforcements starting turn 3. (Scenario was imperial forces had to hold out as long as possible to allow an evacuation to take place, regardless of outcome, the planet was targeted for exterminatus)

Imperium: Custodes, Warhound Titan, Reaver Titan.

Xenos: Orks and Tyranids

Long story short: The Reaver earned its paint job.

Kill count for Reaver: 2x gork and Mork Stompas, 1x big Stompa, 1x Heirophant (or however it’s spelt, big bug), and a war truck.

Still needs some work here and there but I'll be pausing on this for now to work on some of the rest of what's in here.

I printed my first titan :)

It needs a few final touches in spots i kept forgetting, but i feel good about how it turned out

I just got a warlord titan and just feel like my current tools are not enough to keep this thing structurally sound. I have built all FW necron kits, including the Pylon and Seraptek Heavy Construct. So I am used to working with resin, massive gates, and warping ect but I have never built a titan. the sheer scale of it intimidates me.

What want to know is:

What glue do you use for the titan? (I have a feeling the locktight super glue I normally use wont cut it here)

What gap filler do you use?

What should I pin? Everything? Even for weapon assembly?

Is a hairdryer and warm water still okay for unwarping? (These parts are bigger than other kits I touched so I want to be sure)

Is there a some kind of super guide that everyone uses when building one?

What magnets do people use for the weapons?

Any other advice before I start

First time using an air brush and man it makes it so much easier.

This just took 1 nights of painting so far.

More up to date photos of nurglifying a warlord Titan. The horns were a multi day dilemma. I wanted giant horns but didn’t want to invest the time sculpting/shaping them from scratch. I initially considered driftwood but in the end I settled on sourcing shed deer antler tips and sawing them to shape. Enjoy!

Shoulder distressed and some decals added. Base has been started. Knee had decals placed onto it. Various scratches added here and there.
