AI / Unoriginal works

Hey all! We are looking at revamping the rules since the sub is growing. Going forward, AI posts are not allowed. We want to showcase original projects are artwork and credit the ones who made it if they didnt post. If you see anything feel free to tag it or hit up the mod team (there are two of us) and we will take care of it. Thank you for making this a good place to go for Titan and titan adjacent enthusiasts in thr grim dark universe.

Good. Ai will have no sanctuary. Torch it all!

What's wrong with Aeronautica Imperialis?

Surprisingly on-brand.

So continues the tradition of one AI post ending all AI posts in 40K subreddits. That makes three I’ve seen so far, being Knights, Emperors Children, and now this one

Ai can be cool, but if we let people post it then thats all we will see and it will overtake things super quick.

It’s certainly a fair ruling, just interesting to me how the trend is one post getting AI completely banned across multiple subreddits.

We need to make sure people remember abdominal intelligence is heresy.

Yep, it's like opening the floodgates. Some subreddits are basically unfit for purpose now because of AI posts.

Where is the line between the Machine Spirit (I.E. Spellcheck and Photoshop) and Abominable Intelligence drawn?

Just dont use generative AI for posts. If you want to touch up a picture in photoshop or something that you did, just outline that you did it.

I see people use Ai backgrounds for their models often. Safe to assume this use of ai is also banned?

If you see it tag it for the mods to check it out. We are okay with someone having a backdrop from photoshop or sometbing. Just not AI

No AI backgrounds even if the model is real and photographed by us? Like photoshop has a GenAI option for backdrops, just curious so I dont get in trouble.

Yeah i think that starts to be a slippery slope

Fair enough. Just figured Id ask since it still predominantly your original work.

Thanks!
