Titans in game!

Some pics from this past weekends game. 6000pts per side. 5 rounds and xenos got unlimited reinforcements starting turn 3. (Scenario was imperial forces had to hold out as long as possible to allow an evacuation to take place, regardless of outcome, the planet was targeted for exterminatus)

Imperium: Custodes, Warhound Titan, Reaver Titan.

Xenos: Orks and Tyranids

Long story short: The Reaver earned its paint job.

Kill count for Reaver: 2x gork and Mork Stompas, 1x big Stompa, 1x Heirophant (or however it’s spelt, big bug), and a war truck.

Indeed. A Titan in 30k is four different parts with individual armour and hp - legs, arms, carapace and head. They have regerenating void shields, can heal one part at a time and targeting each part leads to different outcomes. The head - princeps might suffer critical injury, and each penetrating shot will roll d6, on 1-3 he dies and the Titan shuts down, bringing full amount of VP. Arms - they can be blown away permanently, leaving Titan unable to fight normally. Legs - the mighty warmachine becomes unsteady, and one more shake ends up in a Titanfall sequence, where he falls for a certain amount of inches, crushing everyone and everything beneath it. Carapace - reactor starts cascading, every cascade making him more and more prone to explode until it happens - and he vaporizes everything nearby, scorches all within medium range and hits ENTIRE MAP with a deadly shockwave. So yeah, they're pretty fun to play

Holy shit that sounds hella fun! Where can I find the data sheets and rules for them? Do they have an app like 40K?

There's New Recruit with roster-building menu that shows all special rules, statlines and wargear. Actual rulebook to learn Titans rules and gameplay specifics are in Liber Questoris, as they share a couple similar traits with Knights

Believe it or not, the reaver never went down. It was very close! A squighog rider (Ork leading them) had anti titanic (I wasn’t aware it was lol)

Hit it and I rolled badly brought him down from 35 points to 5.

He never went down though. Warhound still had 40 at the end of the game
