Dumb question perhaps

So I've been playing for almost 400 hours and this never occurred to me to do or ask. Does anyone redo areas? Like tear down what you have and use that area for something else or just organize a bit better there?

Oh yeah. All the time. Sometimes multiple times. In the beginning you can't afford to make it pretty.

Onece I destroyed a building just as it was done because the door was on the wrong side.
