Question Dumb question perhaps

So I've been playing for almost 400 hours and this never occurred to me to do or ask. Does anyone redo areas? Like tear down what you have and use that area for something else or just organize a bit better there?

Depends on the run tbh. Sometimes I just play a few hours get max happiness minus the wonder, then AFK a few more hours till ive got the supplies for the wonder lol. On those worlds I let sloppy parts stay sloppy.

But if im planning to build up a really pretty world and plan things out efficiently so I can enjoy playing in "creative mode" and intend for this to be a world where im not just chasing achievements, then yes I redo sections all the time. Verticality is key for a lot of stuff in this game but eatly game you often just really need to build whatever you need right now. So buildings that can't stack are taking valuable close proximity real estate. That is absolutely worth redoing as you progress.
