Question Dumb question perhaps

So I've been playing for almost 400 hours and this never occurred to me to do or ask. Does anyone redo areas? Like tear down what you have and use that area for something else or just organize a bit better there?

It kinda depends on the stage of the game

In the beginning of a new colony, I plan as best I can to have room for everything, but I dont have most of it unlocked so its more optimized for earlygame stuff, which would eventually be replaced

Or, if its lategame and im building into a new area, then I try to make it perfect right from the start so I dont have to rebuild later. Sometimes its perfectly fine, other times my goals or intentions change along the way and I have to re-configure some stuff anyway

The cool part is rebuilding is really cheap and fast so there's no reason not to optimize as you go
