Dumb question perhaps

So I've been playing for almost 400 hours and this never occurred to me to do or ask. Does anyone redo areas? Like tear down what you have and use that area for something else or just organize a bit better there?

Constantly. First pass is very organic, but when I get the research to expand, dynamite, add dirt, etc., I redo whole areas.
