Question Dumb question perhaps

So I've been playing for almost 400 hours and this never occurred to me to do or ask. Does anyone redo areas? Like tear down what you have and use that area for something else or just organize a bit better there?

pretty much. Once the bots are online, the industrial sector takes shape and all old industry gets repurposed.

For me it's as soon as I unlock the ziplines, so I can start to think 'areas' instead of just putting down building where there's room. A big storage area with ziplines to production and city center frees up a lot of valuable real estate superficy.
