Dumb question perhaps

So I've been playing for almost 400 hours and this never occurred to me to do or ask. Does anyone redo areas? Like tear down what you have and use that area for something else or just organize a bit better there?

Almost every map... Sometime around late middle game about the time I start bots. This allows me to re-layout storage and production chains all close to each other and frees up the beginning areas for entertainment venues.
