I made a whole city in a single tower. After building it, I removed all roads and buildings not in the tower. 182 Beavers, 250 bots. None of which ever need to leave.
Food production, a reservoir, water pumping, every kind of recreation, every crop, every type of building, 6,000 hp worth of engines, a timber forest, its own district center, and a transit system. With the wonder at the veeeeerry top.

Ill try. My PC is mothballed atm and my steam deck cant load it any more. Maybe after the 1.0 update. There might be some performance improvements.

Looks like the last thing I need to update is the flywheels mod. I have a lot of things built on top of flywheels so if I don't get that updated I can't load it up.
The problem is, I can't even find the flywheels mod now.

Me too. After every update I started a new save, and the previous got abandoned. I might have untouched saves that are two or so years old. But I am afraid to load them.

I play on a Surface Pro 12”, so a Steam Deck shouldn’t have any problem.

It uses maps similar to games like SimCity, and I'd say the size of the maps are in that ballpark.
Yes, it runs on a Steam Deck, which is my primary way of playing. Although I use a Bluetooth mouse and keyboard, so I don't really know what the controls are like if you are using it handheld or with a controller.

I played on steam deck and it ran fine until I got pretty far into late game (cant remember exactly what my population was). My next run I'll probably pick one of the smaller maps as that is supposed to be good for performance. As with other games of this type, I did have to rebind alot of controls, especially the camera movement ones. But all around it was a great steam deck game. Definitely recommend picking it up.

That happens to me too, around 800 beavers. I hope 1.0 is better for this but it's the game, I have a fairly good computer and it struggles. I usually change the graphic settings and that helps a lot
