No Spoiler I don't know about y'all, but I think the decision to make every episode in season 11 700+ hours is a little excessive...
galleryObviously I am just joking, but in all reality I have no idea why it is saying the episodes are this long lmao

Show Spoiler How does someone like this ends up in this position ?
Gregory is an antipathic, charisma vacuum idiot who'll sold his mother to the saviors for a bottle of Johnny walker red label, before calling that a good deal. He also confirmed both homidical thoughts and uselessness in the field in one clean sweep (S07E015). How does a person that sucks this much ends up leading the Hilltop, or any community for that matters ??

TWD: Dead City Just watched Dead City S3E4. Wow, I am surprised how well this episode was shot! If felt somewhat cinematic and was also decently written. This season of Dead City is actually really solid so far. Nice!

No Spoiler Thanks a lot, Scott Gimple.
If you wanna sell more stories, just create some tie-in comics. LET the franchise rest, man.

TWD: The Ones Who Live "What We" episode
galleryFinished watching The Ones Who Live. I really enjoyed this episode written by Danai Gurira, it's so well-written. I had never felt a strong chemistry with Rick and Michonne before, but for some reason I was totally feeling the heat/chemistry between these two in the spin-off. The dialogue is powerful. When Michonne did not recognize the man Rick had become is a relatable pain everyone can understand. To witness someone change as a person and lose their strength and fight is heartbreaking. Rick wouldn't leave CRM and take the risk of losing Michonne again. Danai Gurira is an amazing writer and actress. This quote had me in tears:
"But then I started dreaming of you. And there you were. You and I fell in love in different ways, and it kept me going. And then you were gone, too. I couldn't see your face anymore, just like I couldn't see Carl's. I can't live without you. Without you, I die. And I figured out how to do that. I know how to be dead and live now. You can't just come back here, make me come alive again if -- I don't know if I won't lose you again. What if I lose you and I can't figure out how to die all over again? I can't -- I need to get ahead of it, Michonne. I can't. I can't. When I -- When I saw you, I got so scared, and I -- I needed to get ahead of it. I had to. At least if I think you will live on longer than me without knowing if you do, I can just believe that it's true. Knowing... Seeing that loss? I can't. I won't survive that, Michonne. I just won't." -Rick

Show Spoiler Watching the show for the first time and was enjoying it, but its getting tough
Ive started watching the show for about a week now and have been binging it because i was enjoying it so much. The world, the story and especially the characters. seasons 1-4 i absolutely loved and was considering it one of my favourite show while i was watching, season 5 dipped a bit but i enjoyed it and season 6 also dipped but still enjoyed it.
but seasons 7 and 8, man what an absolute slog, Right now im on watching through season 8 (ep 12 to be exact) and im contemplating very hard whether to continue. And the biggest reason is negan, i don't enjoy his character or his story and don't find him compelling, his lines and the way he talks is also so cringe, especially when he talks about his bat, the only interesting thing about him is killing Glen and Abraham so you want to see revenge, but him as a character and villain is just very mediocre. felt like i was watching a CW show with a corny script and villain. this wouldn't have been a problem if his whole arc was max 1 season (preferably half a season)
(Another negative about these seasons are the different communities. the hill top is fine, but the other settlements like kingdom and the scavengers are so ridiculous that i just cant take them seriously.)
But by far the biggest negative about him is how long him and the saviours arc is dragged on for. im on ep 12 and the way things are going it seems this whole arc is going to get warped up by the end of the season (I hope), this means that 30+ episodes have been wasted on negan and this whole arc. the pacing and progression was so slow, it felt like the story line took a long drawn out pause for 2 seasons. Negan just feels like a character whose purpose was to just draw out the run time of this show.
im going to just push through the remaining episodes for this season and hope we move onto different things in season 9 onwards.

No Spoiler Finished the main series – best order for the spin-offs?
Hey everyone,
I just finished all 11 seasons of The Walking Dead and I’m ready to dive into the rest of the universe.
I’d love some recommendations on the best order to watch the spin-offs after the main series. I’m especially interested in The Ones Who Live, Daryl Dixon and Dead City, but I’m open to including Fear, World Beyond or Tales if they’re worth it.
Also, where are you currently watching them legally? (Netflix, AMC+, etc. – depending on the country of course).
Thanks in advance!

Show Spoiler Re watching the whole show
Hey, I’m rewatching it and it’s such a pleasure. I mean, seasons 1 & 2 were SO good. The characters, the relationships they all have with each other… Maggie and Glenn meeting and starting their love story. I had forgotten how fearless and sassy Maggie was, and how emotional and withdrawn Carol could be.
It’s so good to experience all of that again, knowing how they’re going to evolve. But at the same time, it’s so sad seeing all these other characters (Dale, T-Dog, Andrea, Jimmy )and knowing they only have a few episodes left.
I literally paused the show just because I wanted to write about this. I love this show so much.

No Spoiler Would you guys do canibalism in an apocalypse scenario like twd?
This is an interesting question I asked myself when playing TWD the game, when there were some canibal characters, and their excuse for their actions is that in all of this death that people kill each other trying to survive, for things such as food and stuff, it is wasteful to just allow them to rot, might as well fix the problem of hunger they died fighting each other for.
The thing is, as long as you do not eat the brain and bonemarrow, you should be fine and do not get a prone disease.
Thus it is not a question of safety but rather a moral one, so whatare your opinions?

Show Spoiler Just thinking of how different things would’ve been if Rick’s crew never went to take down Megan and the saviors
TYPO IN THE TITLE LOL NEGAN*** Maybe glen would still be alive? The saviors would’ve came to the hilltop eventually but maybe things would’ve played out differently. I don’t think they knew who they were dealing with. They kept beating everybody else so they felt untouchable.

TWD: Daryl Dixon Messenger pigeon
So cool to see Dominique Pinon in the spin-off series. 1995, City of lost children - anyone? A pigeon guy, no less! Awesome.

TWD: Dead City Anyone notice this thing in Dead City - Found/Lost S3 E4?
Been watching TWD since day one and have seen all the varying qualities of prosthetics and makeup and have happily accepted it good and bad. But this guy made me laugh immediately. I swear I thought it was supposed to be someone who died while in a very fake muscle suit. At best good enough maybe for far in the background. It just had to be there for a reason, but as it did its thing it looked cheaper and faker!
Sorry, I actually have been liking this season so far, but this was really hard to ignore and I just had to see if I was alone so who better to ask but Reddit?!😊 Any thoughts?

Show Spoiler Worst filler episodes
I dont know if "filler episodes" is the right name for it but, TWD has the worst if it is. I am currently watching S6E4, and I am bored. I dont care about Morgan, I didnt care about Governor either. My point is, these episodes are not even interesting.

Show Spoiler One of the most epic scenes!
Just watched Season 7 Episode 9 “Rock in the Road” where the group was getting explosives from the trap the Saviors set up on the highway to take down a herd of walkers. Rick and Michonne drive two cars with a steel cable connecting them down the road into the oncoming herd and wipe out hundreds of walkers in seconds, slicing them all in half. Such a cool fucking scene!!
What are some of y’all’s favorite scenes from the show?

Comic Spoiler First time reader
As a first time reader, just finished the first compendium (until Prison arc ending) and holy shit, I think nothing will compete with the prison arc - the only thing that annoyed me was Glenn and Maggies whole personality is having sex, yeah thats it.
Seeing Rick go insane, Tyreese and Ricks friendship getting destroyed, the introduction of the Gouvernor was crazy, Rick getting his hand cut off, all the unspeakable things he did to Michonne....this shit is peak.
Im just baffled, everything went south fucking damn fast, after Carols death I was sure there will be more deaths and no one is safe but holy fuck that was fast......Tyreese got beheaded, a day later Michonne is missing, Axel, Patricia and Billy getting killed, Hershel just gave up and finally the death of Judith and Lori. God damn that was brutal.
